Pushpa 2, the sequel to the blockbuster movie Pushpa: The Rise, which earned 350 crores in India, may be delayed until 2024. The director of the movie, Sukumar, is reportedly unsatisfied with the content that has been shot so far and has decided to stop the shoot.

According to Bollywoodlife, after a month-long schedule in Vizag, the shooting was stopped, and there has been no update on when it will resume. The Pushpa 2 teaser, which was slated to release on Allu Arjun’s birthday on April 8, is unlikely to release on the aforementioned date.

The report further states that the director wants to erase whatever has been shot until now and wants to focus on reshooting the content once again.

The first instalment of Pushpa: The Rise, which was released on 17 December 2021, starred Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahad Faasil and others. The movie made headlines for its hottest item number, Oo Antava, featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
